An overseas recipient may require an apostille or another authentication process. Start by asking the receiving authority what it accepts for your document and destination country.
Confirm the document route first
Tell us the document type, issuing location, destination country, and deadline. Some public records need certified copies from the issuing agency rather than notarization of an ordinary photocopy.
Optional coordination
Ask whether apostille coordination is available before booking. When offered, the starting service rate is $250; government and delivery costs are separately quoted. The website does not guarantee processing time or acceptance by an overseas recipient.
Apostilles are issued by the appropriate government authority. See the California Secretary of State apostille instructions for official information.
